Welcome to the first ever newsletter for The Sage Creative! This is very exciting and has taken A LOT of work to get to this point. Thank you for being one of our very first supporters in this journey, and for being patient with us as we work out any kinks.

We are grateful to earn a few minutes of your week. We know your life is busy with work, adulting, maybe school, maybe kiddos, and hopefully some FUN! The goal of this newsletter is to be short, digestible, and allow you to find more resources if you'd like to know more. In this newsletter you will find:

Post Summary

The Sage Creative is a blog for people who love our planet, love art, and who care about sustainability, community, and self-improvement. Our mission is to make a positive impact on nature conservation around the world through inspirational art that uses eco-friendly materials, raises awareness of sustainable art practices, and supports non-profit conservation organizations.

We also want to positively impact and inspire those around us to do the same. As Helen Keller once said: Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much. We hope to share our thinking, planning, learning, and processes with you here to expedite shared learning and progress.

Implementation Idea

Studio News

For those of you who don't know, Nate and I are completely renovating a house by ourselves. While Nate does master electrician work, I've been painting at least 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week for over a month and posting to Instagram! This is way better for both of us. I keep out of his hair and I don't potentially burn our house down. Check out the art below!

What I'm Working On

• Identifying an eco-friendly drop shipping art printer. It has been quite the disappointing experience so far. The UK has this nailed down, the US not so much. I'm currently testing out products from a UK-based company that has printers in the US. We'll see how it goes.
• Planning a memorial piece for a friend capturing three of her fur babies from the past.

What I'm Consuming

• Amy Porterfield's Two Week's Notice. I don't plan to give two week's notice, but it's a great book for online startups.
• ​Mimi Purnell's Skillshare course on business planning and Liz Brindley's course on Instagram for Creatives. For 30 days free and 40% an annual Skillshare membership, use this link.
• ​Susie Moore's course on writing guest copy. Online magazines and blogs always need guest writers and its a way to showcase to the large audiences they already have rather than build an audience from scratch.
